In 2003, South Point School and College started its glorious journey with a profound interest of founding chairman M. A. Rashid to meet the needs of grooming and moulding the students to be part of a forward-looking, progressive global society. The immaculate leadership of former principal of Viqarunnesa Noon School and College, Mrs. Hamida Ali, has been an ever inspiration for the South Point School and College family. The college has already been able to accumulate astounding recognition and goodwill under the dynamic leadership of founder principal Mrs. Hamida Ali.

Following its outstanding success, South Point College Baridhara Campus commenced academic functions in English version for level eleven and twelve (HSC) for the 2019–20 session. A veteran faculty with their high level expertise are ready to transform pupils to new heights in shaping this premier school with optimal teaching and learning attainment.

We, at South Point School and College (SPSC), believe that schools are living spirits that influence the lives of students. Our school has already proved its worth in turning out academically and intellectually sound citizens and honest leaders in different walks of life. We proudly stood as the best school in the Dhaka Board based on the SSC result of 2008 and were awarded 9th place based on the HSC result of 2009.
